About me
When I was a child, my parents had a passion for architecture and interior design; I Iearned to love and appreciate art and decoration from an early age. My childhood home was a typical 1970’s house: everythying was modern, custom-made and built-in. I dreamed of a house where I could move furniture around and redecorate, perhaps that’s why today my family lives in a 1920’s house that is constantly changing and never finished – which I love! It’s at once a living home and a lived-in home.
With a BBA in Business and Marketing, I have worked in advertising and retail in London and Stockholm, including at Svenskt Tenn. Our family moved to Asia, where we lived for 10 years. While in Hong Kong, I studied “Interior Design and Decorating” at KLC School of Design/London, and founded EC Design in Stockholm in 2015.
How I work
I work primarily with residential and office spaces. I don’t deliver one style, my goal is rather to help the client create a home which reflects their lifestyle and personality, a place where they can feel perfectly at home and thrive. It’s important that the interior feels like a real home not a museum, and lasts for a long time, both in terms of it’s style and materials.
